Die Leichtathletikgemeinschaft LG Brillux Münster vereint die Vereine TUS Hiltrup, BSV Roxel, GW Nottuln, TSV Handorf, TV Wolbeck und die TG Münster miteinander. Der Grund für dieses Bündnis der Vereine liegt darin, dass nur im Verbund Leistungstraining finanziert werden kann und so die Möglichkeit, in Münster auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene Leichtathletiktraining anzubieten und zu fördern, gegeben ist.

Im Bereich der Kinderwettkämpfe arbeiten die Vereine zwar autonom für sich, treten aber unter dem eigenen Namen und dem der LG an (bei uns: LG Brillux Münster / TG Münster). Dies soll zur Identifikation mit beiden Vereinen beitragen. Deswegen gibt es auch Trikotausrüstung der LG und der TG, wobei unser Ziel ist, dass die Kinder sich erstmal mit ihrem Verein, also der TG, identifizieren, um dann später auch gemeinsam mit anderen als Startgemeinschaft und damit als LGler aufzutreten. Für die TG starten zurzeit u.a. die DM-Teilnehmer Ben Rose, Jakob Bruns, Benny Merte und Johanna Wigbers.

Ein weiterer großer Vorteil der Zusammenarbeit ist die Möglichkeit gemeinsame Mannschaften für Deutsche Schüler-Mannschafts-Mehrkampfmeisterschaften (DSMM / DJMM) aufzustellen. Zudem wirkt die LG als Unterstützer und Förderer der Vereine. Sie profitiert selbst von der Nachwuchsarbeit in den Grundvereinen, da so Spitzensportförderung von Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen erst ermöglicht wird. Die Zusammenarbeit in der LG ist somit eine Win-Win-Situation für alle teilnehmenden Vereine. [/tagline_box][/five_sixth][/fullwidth]
